A pattern did not open as expected
Most PDF patterns made in pattern software open as one interactive chart. A PDF that is only a picture or a scan opens as pages you can still stitch from and mark with a highlighter, a line tool and an eraser.
If a chart looks wrong, for example a colour or a stitch is missing, write to us. You can also turn on Send PDFs to the Ruta team in the app’s settings, under Sharing, so we can see the patterns that did not open well. Turn it off any time. We look at every report and keep teaching Ruta new kinds of charts. Your original PDF is always one tap away in the app, so you can keep stitching in the meantime.
Sync between your devices
Sign in with the same Apple, Google or email account on your phone and tablet. Your charts and progress then stay up to date on both. Without an account, your projects stay on the device you use.
Subscriptions and purchases
The designer charts that come with the app are free in full, and you can import up to three of your own patterns for free. Ruta Pro is $2.99 a month or $19.99 a year, each with a 14-day free trial, or $49.99 once for lifetime access. Prices are in US dollars, and the app shows the price for your country before you buy.
Purchases are made through Apple on iPhone and iPad, and through Google Play on Android. To cancel or change a subscription, open your Apple Account settings and choose Subscriptions, or on Android open Google Play and choose Payments and subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial or the current period to avoid the next charge. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google Play.

Account and your data
You can delete your account in the app, or follow the steps on the account deletion page. Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription, so cancel that in your Apple Account settings or in Google Play as well.
